Accessing the System
Begin your journey with Police Ready by filling out your information in the Registration section of our website. Once you have successfully registered for Police Ready, you will have your own unique Username and Password used to log on to the Police Ready system.
The Police Ready Application
Once you have signed in to the Police Ready application, you will see a Welcome area, a My Account tab, a Practice Exams tab, a Preparation Materials tab, and your Scoreboard on the far right of your screen.
My Account
Under the My Account section of the system, you will be able to fill in your account information and view a history of your test scores.
Practice Exams Area
Clicking on the Practice Exams tab will give you access to our vast collection of Police practice exams that you may attempt as many times as you wish. We will be constantly preparing and adding new tests to provide you with fresh and up-to-date preparation material.
*note: the image below is just a screenshot to give you an idea of what to expect to see once you have selected a particular exam type. In this case, we have chosen the PATI exam section as an example.
Clicking on the “Attempt” link on the far right column will begin the test that you have selected. While taking your tests, a timer will appear on the top right corner of your test screen. You may hide or pause the timer at your own discretion, giving you complete control of your testing experience.
Once you have completed a test, the system will automatically present a detailed test report indicating your test score, time and date of completion, as well as your performance for each individual question presented on a grid. You can view solutions to each question to learn from your mistakes. Your test report will also be automatically posted on the Scoreboard area so you can measure your performance over time.
Preparation Material
In the Preparation Material section, you will find critical preparation materials on many topics that will prepare you for your career in law enforcement.
Video Simulations/ BPAD Preparation Materials
Our interactive BPAD preparation section provide you with both written, as well as Interactive Video Simulation training for the BPAD. The written component will provide you with comprehensive and theoretical situations, while the interactive video’s will allow you to put those theories into practice. Put yourself in the shoes of a real police officer and take the necessary steps in becoming one yourself!
Scoreboard
This Scoreboard will provide you with listings of all of your scores (your last 30 test results) in order (from most recent), as well as a listing of the tests which you have left incomplete. Keep track of your complete and incomplete tests, and track your score improvements over time to help you prepare for your police examination.
